Ask yourself the right questions before you start :

Ask yourself the right questions before you start:

What is your relationship with the organization?
Are you organized? Do you know how to follow a schedule? Are you able to prepare a plan and follow it?

How are you used to learning?
Do you need someone to motivate and boost you? Do you have a visual or auditory memory? Are you disciplined?

What are your goals?
Is it an emergency for you to learn French? Are your goals realistic? Is learning French for you a crazy bet? Are your goals SMART?

How is your schedule?
Are you very busy or do you have a lot of time? Do you have a lot of free time or only a few minutes a day?

Getting organized to learn French :

Getting organized to learn French

Ideally, you should be able to get out of the way:

at least 40 minutes a day

⚠️ Please note that this does not have to be 40 consecutive minutes!

This can be :

  • 10 minutes in the morning,
  • 10 minutes at lunchtime,
  • 10 minutes in the afternoon
  • and 10 minutes in the evening.

If you have noticed, I have divided this time into four. Why did you do that?

Because you need to optimize your time to work on the four skills:

  • Listening comprehension
  • Reading comprehension
  • Oral expression
  • Written expression

It's also quite possible to work on these four skills over several days, for example :

  • Monday : 40 minutes of listening comprehension
  • Tuesday : 40 minutes of reading comprehension
  • Wednesday : 40 minutes of oral expression
  • Thursday : 40 minutes of written expression
  • Friday : we take a break
